Newly renovated study
building opened its door for the students of the Vocational school #77 of
Jamoat Navgilem on New Year's Eve December 30, 2015, in Jamoat Navgilem Isfara
district of Sughd Region the official opening ceremony of the renovated and
equipped study building of the Vocational school #77 has been held, supported
within the project “Livelihood improvement of rural population in the nine
districts of Tajikistan” implemented by UNDP Tajikistan, with the financial support of the Government of the Russian Federation. One
of the important objectives of the project is to enhance the capacity of
vocational schools and to provide labor market with highly skilled specialists.
According to the Educational Department of Isfara city in 2014, only 3472 students graduated from the secondary school and annually 2,000 of them are the potential recipients of professions and replenish the labor market. One of the important tasks is to ensure these graduates with demanded skills and professions in the labor market.
For the implementation of identified tasks, the project was implemented on repair of study building, purchase of plumbing tools and materials for the manufacture of plumbing 4 work desks for mechanics course of Vocational school #77 Jamoat Navgilem. The boys and girls from different villages of Jamoat study in this school. As noted by the teacher of VS#77 Qodirov A.: “Mechanic profession is one of the most popular not only in domestic, but also on the external labor market”.
The support provided will enhance the quality of vocational training of 60 students of the mechanic course and improve study and working conditions for 19 teachers and 155 students of other courses. The head of the Agency for Labour,Employment and migrations of Isfara city Mr. Nurullo Kurbanov mentioned in his notes: “The project will create a new group for professional skills development in a short term (3 months) among 20 unemployed people registered in our Agency. Reception of the state diploma expands employment opportunities and sustainable income for the graduates of the school.”
