Ladies and Gentlemen

International Trade Fair "Sughd" has become generally recognized and an integral part of economic development not only of business circles of Sughd Region, but also of the whole of Tajikistan. Every year entrepreneurs of Sughd Region and other regions of Tajikistan, neighbouring and foreign countries actively participate in the work of the trade fair.

The 7th International Trade Fair "Sughd" - took a special place in the formation and maintenance of the image of domestic producers, as it provides ample opportunities to demonstrate products and services. This is a platform to present the potential and opportunities of Sughd Region. The scale of expositions at the past exhibitions and the activity of participants shows that the fair is gradually becoming a traditional event for producers, entrepreneurs, and investors all over the world.  

The economic significance of the fair is an image event, which includes trade and economic, science and technology, cultural and educational components, where different sectors of the economy are represented with their goods and products.

In addition, this platform provides an opportunity for an active dialogue between all participants, establishing direct contacts with buyers aimed at enhancing economic growth, sustainable development, strengthening regional cooperation and trade. 

It is grateful that today at the 7th International Trade Fair "Sughd-2021", along with numerous long-standing partners, there are participants from the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

I believe that this event will continue to contribute to the strengthening of economic and business relations, strengthening communication between suppliers and potential customers, demonstrating achievements and new trends in industry, agro-industrial complex, the development of small and medium-sized businesses, the tourism sector in Sughd Region and regions of the Republic of Tajikistan.
