Strengthening Communities in Khatlon region and Rasht Valley of Tajikistan 

Project is funded by the Government of the Russian Federation at the total amount of US$ 1.850 million with the duration of January 2020 – June 2022. The Project is implemented in Khatlon region and Rasht valley and aims residents of pilot rural areas, women, and men from vulnerable households and/or from rural settlements facing development issues, are equipped with skills for employment, self-employment and innovations in farming and agribusiness spheres and are able to more actively participate in and contribute to inclusive and sustainable rural development.

Focus Area: Improving access to effective and quality services through introducing innovative solutions and supporting local population to explore new niches for income generation, employment and self-employment
Partners: Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, Local administrations of pilot districts of Khatlon region and Rasht valley, and Local public organizations, universities and support institutions for business development
